Cost Of Solar Panels Has Dropped Significantly
The price of solar modules (commonly called panels) has dropped by over 50% in the past 7 years. In addition, the panels are more powerful in the same size footprint as previous generation panels.
Solar is sold by the installed watt, and today the same area covered in solar costs much less and makes more power compared to just a few years ago.
Mountain View Solar uses premium modules by SolarWorld, SilFab, Panasonic and LG, and quality inverters by SolarEdge, Schneider or SMA.
Your mtvSolar estimate will include the modules, labor, inverters, rail and all balance of system, including permitting and inspection. The price per watt goes down with more capacity, with a minimum of 8 panels though most systems typically start with 12 panels or more. The final price varies with complexity of installation, such as whether it’s on an existing roof or the ground.
mtvSolar now has financing options available, with a return on investment within 10-12 years depending on your state.
